Pool Etiquette

1. Most league players or other serious players have their own personal pool cue. It is only being respectful that a person is ask first, if it is okay for you to handle their pool cue.

2. Please do not sit on the pool tables, along with whatever you’re drinking.

3. When it is not your turn to shoot…… you should sit tight until you come back to the table. No walking around, picking up the chalk, looking over your opponents shot, standing right next to your opponent…. especially when they are down to shoot.

4. Give a tight rack. Nothing says you have “no class” like a loose rack.

5. Unless you intend to forfeit the match, do not start unscrewing your cue until the game is officially over.

6. Safety/Defense is a strategic part of the game. It is legal and should not be complained about.
